Religious Journey
Growing up religious has been something of a struggle for me to understand. I feel as though I still have a lot to learn. Despite going through religious traditions and ceremonies, I feel that I have yet to truly understand my place in the Catholic faith and church. In these classes I was taught about my religion, and I know of the traditions and the importance of them. I know of the prayers and of the days of celebration, but I still feel like I am not truly connected to my Catholic faith. I feel like I am missing a vital piece in order for me to fully connect to my religion. I am young and still growing as a person, so I know in time I will come to grasp and find my own understanding of what it means to be a Hispanic catholic.
